Who makes JP Handmade pieces?
Every piece is handmade in Scotland by Julie — trail name Penguin. Each one starts with a trail, a landscape, or a journey, and ends up as something you can wear to share the adventure.
What are your pieces made from?
Our jewellery and keepsakes are made from resin, and in the Ridgelines collection, resin paired with wood. [CONFIRM: resin type, wood sourcing, or hypoallergenic claims, if any]
How do I care for my resin jewellery?
Care instructions — Resin is extremely hard wearing and versatile in design, just two of the reasons why i choose to work with it. with prolonged exposure to heat the resin may warp.
Where do your designs come from?
Each collection tells a different story: Blazes (AT trail markers), Summits (mountain elevation), Wildlands (UK wildlife and nature), Waypoints (digital trail keepsake cards), and Ridgelines (resin and wood fusion).
Where do you ship from?
UK orders ship from Scotland. All US orders — retail and wholesale — now ship from our US distribution partner, so you're getting your piece faster and without international shipping delays.
When do orders ship?
UK orders are shipped within 3 days of your order unless it's made to order or out of stock. All US orders are shipped once a week, on Tuesdays. Orders placed after 6pm Monday will be dispatched the following week.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
If your order arrives incorrect, color or design, please notify us within 3 days of delivery to confirm a correction. If item arrives damaged, let us know within 5 days of delivery and we'll arrange an exchange. Once we receive the returned item back, your exchange is sent out.
Can I order a custom piece?
Yes — we love custom pieces. Please allow 1 month for custom orders to be made and shipped.

Which stores stock JP Handmade?
You'll find select JP Handmade pieces at trail-side outfitters and shops along the Appalachian Trail, including the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Mountain Crossings and Bluff Mountain Outfitters in Hot Springs. This list isn't exhaustive — ask your local outdoor shop if they carry us!
